Sheet metal is metal formed by an industrial process into thin, flat pieces. Sheet metal is one of the fundamental forms used in metalworking, and it can be cut and bent into a variety of shapes. Countless everyday objects are fabricated from sheet metal.
Thickness can vary significantly; extremely thin sheets are considered foil or leaf, and pieces thicker than 6 mm (0.25 in) are considered plate steel or “structural steel”.
Surya Springs specializes in manufacturing complex pressed components in a wide range of raw materials including aluminium, annealed, hard spring strip, copper and stainless steel as well as the more common steel strip materials.
We offer a range of pressed components for several applications from small spring clips to larger brackets and other components as per the customer requirements.
TOOL DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Our tool Design & development capabilities are well equipped with top of the line software which includes Solid Works, Siemens NX UG, Cad Cam and So forth. Our design team works in close coordination with the clients from product design stage itself to optimize the process for large scale manufacturing of parts.
We have inhouse tool manufacturing facilities like VMC Machine, M1TR Machine, Lathe machines and surface grinder machine. we also work closely with our associate tool rooms in India as well as rest of Asia to manufacture high quality tooling. This helps us in delivering consistent quality products to our customers.
